Harley Quinn #2 Review

Harley Quinn #2 - Page 1Writers: Amanda Conner & Jimmy Palmiotti

Artists/Cover: Chad Hardin/Amanda Conner

Colorists: Alex Sinclair

HELTER SHELTER

Harley is getting settled into her new life. Would be easy if there wasn’t a bounty on her head! Don’t fret all she needs is a little girl time with her bestie Poison Ivy. What can possibly go wrong when these girls have a night out? Hint: It gets wild!

The Ups: Viciously entertaining! Palmiotti and Conner continues to delivers a smash hit. Harley feels lonely and invites Poison Ivy for a night out of town in here new setting. This issue is fun with tons of laugh. I could not stop laughing. Palmiotti and Conner has gotten the humorous dialogue and the violent under tone in perfect harmony. The story is very self contain that contributes to the bigger story which is who is attempting to assassinate Harley Quinn? Poison Ivy guest starts and leads to a heart felt story involving those cute animals on the cover(warning: they are not friendly!) Hardin line work are great as ever. Light lines with the combination of Sinclair’s bright colors make this issue visually appealing. A great art team!

Harley Quinn #2 - Page 7The Downs: Poison Ivy facial expressions are a bit weird but that is just artist interpretation. My own little knacks.

Overall: Connor & Palmiotti provide another hilarious issue with the hint of violence. Hardin and Sinclair continues to give the readers beautiful arts in every panel that keeps you coming for more. A must buy issue!
