STOP THE PRESSES!

“Under oath and with God and the media as my witness, I’m telling you that I am Daredevil. Always have been, always will be.”

The Serpents have plotted to take Daredevil down from all sides if he doesn’t drop his case against them. Little do they know Matt Murdock has a plan to flip everything on it’s head but will the results be worth it in the end?!

The Ups: And here we are, the ending of probably one of the greatest Daredevil runs ever and with such a well crafted conclusion I am left reminded why I fell in love with this series in the first place. Playing out like a courtroom drama with a superhero twist, the way Waid wrote Daredevil turning the pressure on the Serpents and shocking the world in a positive manner at the same time was really well done, while there was a lot of well written dialogue, it wouldn’t be a Daredevil issue without him gracefully taking out the villains. As always Samnee and Rodriguez keep the wonderful and unique art style of theirs intact but bringing a little extra detail to show all the emotion and drama going on in each page helping bring out the full feel of this wonderful and heartfelt issue.

Overall: A perfect ending to a perfect series. All the plots were closed up properly and the ending is a great set up for the All-New Daredevil coming soon, which is something everyone should be excited for. If you have not read Waid and Samnee’s run of Daredevil you are missing out on one of the best series from any comic company out today, so take my word for it and check this out and the rest of the series today!
