Superior Spider-Man #25 - Page 1

Writers: Dan Slott/Christos Gage

Artist: Humberto Ramos

Inker/Colorists: Victor Olazaba/Delgado/Fabela/Gandini

“WE GO TO WAR WITH THE AVENGERSSS!!!”

Enter Superior Venom. The damage being caused by the new Venom has forced the hand of the Avengers, who have come to bring down the symbiote and save Spider-Man. But has Otto become completely consumed by Venom or will be able to regain control of himself?!

The Ups: Man did Slott and Gage take me on one wild ride, from start to finish this issue was stuff with action and great plot advances for the upcoming ‘Goblin Nation’ arc. With the amount of story going on in this issue dealing with Flash, the Goblins, the Avengers and Venom, Slott and Gage paced everything in such a smooth fashion making the story easy to follow and extremely exciting to read. I can’t really speak much on the story because there is just so much that goes on anything would ruin it for the reader, but trust me this issue is just the start to something amazing in the near future. The entire art team comes out you in full force for this issue with such perfect details even during the most hectic fight scenes and with color so intense its almost like I’m in the action myself. I am becoming a huge fan of Ramos’s designs of the Goblins, each outfit so so uniquely detailed and stylish makes me want to dress up like one for halloween.

The Downs: All good here.

Overall: Superior Spider-Man just keeps getting better with every issue and I can tell bigger things are still to come for the near future. With story telling and art this great is hard to not be following Spider-Man these days, without a doubt you need to check this issue out!
