AVENGERS WORLD

“Now, let’s try to have a good first day–you’re late. Aw, thats terrible.”

The Avengers are not called the Earth’s mightiest heroes for nothing and when the world is in peril they are always the first on the scene. But when an unknown threat start causing mass destruction through an unknown method will the Avengers be able to save the world in time before it’s too late?!

The Ups: With three different Avenger story arcs going on and Hickman on all three it’s amazing that each story is great on it’s own giving all us fans tons of content to read. Hickman joining with Nick Spencer known for his recent work with Superior Foes of Spider-Man and Secret Avengers you can bet we are going on a crazy ride. The plot of the story for now is pretty vague and we do know it has to do with A.I.M but the intense set up alone and the amount of characters alone make up for the lack of information. The real stars of this issue are Caselli and Martin for bring some of the best high quality arc work since the ‘Infinity’ arc. Every single character is detailed to perfection and every location resembling real world locations to the tee and the colors from the dark lightning spread skies to the bright and and sunny to raging fires are to rich and crisp you would swear this belonged in the next Avengers movie.

The Downs: All good here.

Overall: An all around amazing start to the Avengers first All New Marvel Now! title and without a doubt this is going to lead to something great. Wonderful set up and beyond amazing art make this an issue everyone should pick up and my pick of the week, go check it out!
