Every iteration of the Arkham series has gotten exclusive DLC with a Gamestop pre-order and “Batman: Arkham Knight” is no different. The star of this DLC will be none other than Jason Todd, the Red Hood.
Pre-ordering “Batman: Arkham Knight” from Gamestop will get you the Red Hood story pack which will feature single-player missions where players control the Red Hood. Not much else is known but previous character based DLC in the Arkham series allowed you to use the featured character in combat and/or predator style gameplay utilizing their unique talents and gadgets. Along with the Red Hood DLC, players who pre-order from Gamestop will also receive the Harley Quinn pack which features Harley Quinn as a playable character, adds four new challenge maps to the game, and comes with a Batman 75th anniversary poster. Both of these packs are called “story” packs which implies that they will add to the plot of “Batman: Arkham Knight”, with a focus on the characters featured.
“Batman: Arkham Knight” will be released some time in 2015.
